Google Ads: $544K conversion value from $80.5K spend

From client accounts I've managed (in-house and freelance).

These figures combine the client Google Ads accounts I managed over the period, compared with the previous period in the same accounts. They are not one account. To see what a return like this would mean with your own margins, try the ROAS calculator.

How I work on accounts like these

  • Campaigns split by service and value, so budget follows the highest-margin work
  • Primary conversions limited to real enquiries, so bidding learns from the right signal
  • Negative keyword lists built from weekly search term reviews
  • Landing pages matched to the intent of each ad group

A real estate law firm serving multiple California and Nevada markets. I run 12 Search campaigns split by city-level market (including Sacramento, Riverside, Los Angeles and Nevada) with a combined daily budget of $967/day, so each market gets its own keywords, ads and budget control.

High-ticket B2C SEO: 3.18K clicks / 170K impressions

Challenge

A competitive, low-volume, high-ticket B2C niche, where the client needed qualified enquiries, not just traffic.

What I did

A technical SEO overhaul, content refocused on specific high-intent searches, and title and snippet rewrites on pages ranking just off page one.

Result

3.18K clicks and 170K impressions, with a steady upward trend over the 16 months.

Earlier work

Dubai-based company, UAE (2016–2018)

I managed their Google Ads and SEO for two years and handled their entire digital presence. That work eventually allowed me to open my own office. These days I also have an ongoing SEO client in Jeddah; see SEO in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Own sites (2008–2014)

I built and ranked my own WordPress and video sites, including a US-focused YouTube channel. That's where I learned SEO first-hand. The full timeline is on my about page.

How I report

Reading these numbers honestly

Each result is tied to a period and a channel, because a number without context means little. Conversion value comes from the value the account assigns to each conversion. Search Console figures are clicks and impressions over 16 months. Where I quote a change, it is against the previous period in the same account. For how I build accounts like these, see Google Ads management and technical SEO services, or compare all three services. Longer write-ups of the thinking behind these accounts are on the blog.

FAQ

About these case studies

Why are client names hidden?

Most clients prefer their ad accounts and Search Console data to stay private. The numbers come straight from their accounts; only the names are withheld.

What counts as a conversion in these figures?

Whatever the account tracks as a primary conversion, such as a call, form or booking. I set these up so they reflect real enquiries rather than page views.

Can I see results for my industry?

Ask on a call. I can walk you through how a similar account was structured without sharing a client's private details.
