Saudi Arabia and UAE

SEO Consultant for Saudi Arabia and the UAE

I'm an SEO and Google Ads consultant working with businesses in the Gulf. I'm currently doing SEO for Gulf Horizon Tele, a telecom company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and I ran Google Ads and SEO for a Dubai-based company for two years.

Gulf experience

Work in the region

Gulf Horizon Tele · Saudi Arabia · ongoing

Ongoing SEO for a Saudi telecom company: technical health, page structure and Search Console-led optimisation in a competitive market.

Dubai-based company · 2016–2018

Two years managing Google Ads and SEO, handling the company's entire digital presence. It was my first long-term role in the region.

What matters in Gulf SEO

Technical SEO that fits the market

Saudi and UAE sites are often bilingual, mobile-heavy and built on modern JavaScript frameworks. Those are exactly the setups where technical mistakes quietly stop pages from ranking.

  • Language versions that don't compete. Correct hreflang, canonicals and URL structure for each language.
  • Mobile speed. Core Web Vitals fixes for a market that searches mostly on phones.
  • Indexing and migrations. Redirect maps and crawl fixes when sites are rebuilt.
  • Structured data. Organization, Service and LocalBusiness schema that describes your business accurately.
  • Google Ads alongside SEO when you need leads before organic rankings mature.

Working together

Close time zones, plain reporting

I'm based in Pakistan, one hour ahead of the UAE and two ahead of Saudi Arabia. That makes live calls easy during your working day. I report every month on what changed on the site, what moved in Search Console and what I'm doing next.

Telecom SEO

What a telecom site needs

Telecom sites like Gulf Horizon Tele carry many product and solution pages that look alike to a search engine. Most of the work is making each page clearly about one thing, linking related pages logically, and keeping the technical side clean as new pages are added.

SEO in Saudi Arabia: working with a Jeddah-based client

My current Saudi client, Gulf Horizon Tele, is based in Jeddah and serves customers across the Kingdom with telecom, power, security and IT products and services. Sites like theirs have a particular SEO challenge: many product and solution pages that look similar to a search engine. A lot of my work there is making each page clearly about one thing, connecting related products through sensible internal links, and keeping the technical side clean as new pages go live.

That experience carries over to other Saudi and Gulf businesses with large catalogues of products or services. I explain why large sites depend on technical SEO in more detail on the blog.

What I do as an SEO consultant for Gulf businesses

  1. Technical audit

Crawl, Search Console review, indexing and speed, with a prioritised fix list.

  2. Language setup

If you have Arabic and English versions, I check hreflang, canonicals and URL structure so each version ranks for the right audience instead of competing with the other.

  3. Page structure

Clear service and product pages, each targeting one topic, with internal links that make sense to people and to Google.

  4. Local signals

Google Business Profile, consistent business details and schema that describes your company accurately.

  5. Search Console-led improvements

Finding pages that already get impressions but few clicks, and improving titles, descriptions and content. My title and description preview shows how a rewrite will display.

On content, I plan and optimise pages, but Arabic copy should be written or reviewed by a native speaker. I'll say that plainly rather than hand you machine-translated pages.

Experience in the UAE

From 2016 I managed Google Ads and SEO for a Dubai-based company for two years, handling their whole digital presence.

Your first 90 days

  1. Days 1 to 30

audit, access to Search Console and analytics, fixes for anything blocking indexing, and a page map for your main services.
  2. Days 31 to 60

technical fixes and language setup, then the most important service and product pages improved first.
  3. Days 61 to 90

internal linking, the next set of pages, and Google Business Profile work. Rankings in competitive Gulf markets take time, so I report on what changed and what moved rather than promising positions.

Common SEO problems on Saudi and UAE websites

  • Arabic and English pages with no hreflang, so Google shows the wrong language version.
  • Both language versions on the same URL, switched by a script Google may never run.
  • Heavy sliders and images that make pages slow on mobile.
  • Many near-identical product pages with only a model number changed.
  • A redesign launched without redirects, wiping out pages that used to rank. It happened to my own site, and I wrote up what I found and fixed.

Who this suits

Businesses in Saudi Arabia and the UAE with a real website problem to solve: poor indexing, weak structure, a messy bilingual setup or a recent migration. If you mainly need social media management or Arabic copywriting, you'll want a specialist for that, and I'm happy to work alongside one.

Reporting, time zones and pricing

Pakistan is one hour ahead of the UAE and two ahead of Saudi Arabia, so calls fit easily into your working day. Reports are monthly and cover impressions, clicks and enquiries, plus a log of every change. Pricing is based on the size of the site, the number of languages and how much implementation you want me to do; I quote after the free review.

For the full technical approach, see how I run technical SEO projects. If you need leads while rankings build, paid search can run alongside SEO. My published Search Console results show what the work has produced elsewhere.
